Girl Scout cookie awards for Permian Basin in Monahans
At a Permian Basin Girl Scout Council meeting in Monahans on Sunday April 12 the top cookie seller Dee Ann Dyke of Alpine Troop 19 donated her award to runner up Jeannie Smith. Brownies led by Mrs Matthews earned a high troop total and 16 Alpine scouts received pins for selling over 24 boxes. Funds fund Mitre Peak Camp dining lodge construction and a May 17 dedicatory observance is planned.
