Symphony at Sul Ross Cancelled Due to Illness
The San Angelo Symphony Orchestra concert scheduled for tomorrow night at Sul Ross College is cancelled because Mrs. Glenn Davis, wife of Sul Ross music director, is ill. Davis oversaw the program for the symphony and the Sul Ross choir was to participate. Bighorns In Big Bend Planned In Texas Transplant
The State Game Commission reports it is arranging with Arizona to transplant 25 bighorn sheep to the Big Bend Black Gap area of Brewster County. Execut Sec Howard Dodgen says Texas crews will trap the animals in December and January and transport them by truck. No hunting is allowed in the Big Bend areas.
