Christian Endeavor Entertains Young People
Last Saturday night April 2 the Christian Endeavor group was entertained at the home of Mr and Mrs Ed Garnett on South Heights. G W McCollum hosted a large gathering with games and piano selections from several young women. Pranks included signs reading I am a single man and I want to get married. Punch and cake were served at ten, Mrs Mattie Sanford presiding. By eleven thirty all went home declaring it the most delightful evening in a long time and hoping for another similar gathering.
