The McCorkle block in the city expands to occupy the entire ground floor for the Speedway garage and Alliance skating rink. Front entrance will open to third street with space for about forty cars in the front room and twenty two in the rear. The Nebraska Land and Auto Company reports growing business and another Ford shipment arrived to fill orders.
Misa Maude Martin, daughter of County Treasurer Edgar M. Martin, arrived in Alliance on Monday for an extended visit. Her home is in Lincoln.
A Nebraska reader testimonial promotes Doan's Kidney Pills as a cure for back pain and kidney discomfort. John J. Lingle of Wayside near Chadron recounts relief after using Doan's in town years ago and after moving, noting continued benefit since purchasing locally. Foster Milburn Co. The Herald welcomes Mr and Mrs L M Bowen and family to Alliance from Kearney. Bowen is auditor of the Forest Lumber Company and has headquartered here for weeks. Mrs Bowen and two children arrived last Monday to reside in the house vacated by Dick Waters.

The Herald notes a Bingham correspondent error mislabeling a couple as married.
An advertisement promises a cure for deafness caused by inflamed Eustachian tubes and catarrh. It pledges $100 reward for a case of deafness caused by catarrh that cannot be cured by Hall's Catarrh Cure and notes Hall's Pills for constipation.
