Boosters offer prize for best song for excursion use
The Alliance Herald notes Beottabluff merchants offer a prize for the best song to accompany their excursion promotions, but the small rewards deter union poets. The piece also laments the retirement of Lee Richmond as editor of the Minden Courier removing the last full state university news bulletin source. It questions community impact and muses on auto travel and church attendance amid changing times.
