The Box Butte County Commissioners order collection of all back taxes and distress warrants on delinquents who have been notified and failed to pay. County Clerk W C Mounts notes the action dated May 14.

Bennie K Loeb recalls the Sells Floto elephants being bathed in a canal near Idaho Falls when wind and rushing water sent them over a cliff into a swift Snake River channel. The herd, valued at 30000 dollars, all escaped, returning to the show unharmed. The big circus will perform in Alliance on Friday June 1 and 2, offering a monster parade and complete show daily.

J G Brewster of Broken Bow Nebraska advertises a car load of thirty bulls aged one to three years for sale at $100 each. He notes his herd won fourteen ribbons at the State fair in September 1907 including first and fifth in open class, offers delivery in December with two months of feeding, and wintering at the buyer’s premises.
