Hyannis Mourns Searle Suicide Linked to Hyannis Ties
Charles F. Searle, former Hyannis resident and life insurance figure, died by ingesting carbolic acid in a Council Bluffs hotel room. He had ties to Hyannis and previously worked on regional projects including the Hyannis Lena telephone line. No motive is known and his death prompts mourning in the Hyannis area.
