Oscar O Bannon dies after his Stearns Knight touring car overturns following a collision with Roy Aspen 11 p m Wednesday at Tenth Street and Chadron road. Tom Beal Whitney Terrell Wade Grossman and Richard Krnest are named in the report with varying injuries.

Eklund Wins Championship Mat Match

Sheridan light heavyweight champion Clarence Eklund defended his title against Mortensen in Alliance under Police Gazette rules. The match ended after one hour forty six minutes with Eklund securing the only fall. Spectators packed the roof garden as bets lined the arena. crowd generosity exceeded a thousand dollars in admissions. Mrs. J. M. Baskins arrived home Monday after a three week stay in Denver visiting relatives and friends.

Angora Bandit Captured After Train Stop

A young man who gave the name Jack Camery was arrested about 11:30 a m Thursday after a chase by Officer Stilwell. Camery had just alighted from the Denver train and was accused of breaking into the Angora Mercantile Company store Wednesday night, taking 11 in cash a sheepskin overcoat mittens overshoes and other items.

White Mule Seized in Livery Stable Raid

County and city officers raided the Brandell livery barn and found two suitcases holding two gallons and one pint of white mule. George Brandell and John Showlander were arrested. Mabie, a horsebuyer, was also detained. Showlander and Brandell freed. Mabie held on liquor transportation charges.

Beal Recovering After Head Injury in Alliance Accident

Tom Beal, badly bruised and with head wounds from the Alliance accident that killed Oscar O Bannon, is reported by his physician Dr C B Slagle to be recovering though sight was endangered. A Thursday death scare was later corrected. Mrs Conway and Mrs Gorman of Raat robes were shopping in Alliance.
