Inter-Sea Service sells Kansas Oklahoma oil lands to New York syndicate

T. O. Warfield, secretary of the Omaha oil firm Inter-Sea Service, says the company sold a large portion of its oil land holdings in Kansas and Oklahoma to a New York bankers syndicate for about 1.6 million dollars. An eighty acre Kansas lease bought eighteen months earlier for 35 thousand dollars brought 800 thousand in the deal, and now yields about four hundred barrels daily. The Inter-Sea stockholders are eastern Nebraska Omaha and western Iowa men. The trouble with the man who doesn't know anything is that he is always telling it to others.
