Income Tax Payments Due December 15
The commissioner of internal revenue in Washington cautions that December 15 is the final date for the fourth installment of income and excess profits taxes. Payments must arrive by midnight that day at the appropriate internal revenue offices. While a grace period was in 1917, the 1918 act removed it. Payments may be made by cash, check, or money order, with checks payable to collector of internal revenue. Bills will be sent, but no bill does not excuse late payment.
