Oil reports show Ohio Oil and Richards & Comstock striking near Lance Creek north of Losk with a 2 000 foot oil in casing and a gusher found at 2 910 feet. The field expansion touches Osage and Salt Creek areas with multiple wells, leases, and planned deep drilling toward 2 500 to 3 000 feet amid a pending leasing bill in Congress.
