Celebration of Alliance fire department truck arrival inspires event

The Alliance fire department held a smoker at city hall to celebrate the arrival and installation of a new fire motor truck with over one hundred attendees. Moving into Court House Complete Relocation Under Way

The county records began moving to the new court house at 4 pm Tuesday. Chairman Calvin Hashman, board chair, led the first armful of books from the old structure into the fireproof building, followed by The Herald’s reporter and Commissioner Wanek. Nebraska University farm reports four ready sales of light weight horses once hard to market due to the European war. The cavalry stock weighs around 1100 pounds, stands 15 hands high, and is mostly dark colored with some dark grays and cream colors.
