Brakeman Ray Hoag fell ill Tuesday night at Crawford while on a westbound drag and returned home on No 42. An inspection trip went out Saturday on motor car 52 with Supt Weldenhamer road master Lynch and Hively. Fireman Raymond was sent to Litchfield to herd the work train engine. Conductor O Conners and brakeman Castle carried the Byram pedal from Ravenna to Edgemont. Conductor PF D Campbell came back from Omaha and hopes to save his boy's eye after his wife reported improvement. Campbell postponed a planned coast trip. Brakeman McKenzie asks for layoff from April 20 and will move to Lincoln. A damage suit in Omaha involved Conductors Tom Campbell William Eubanks Simonson and brakeman Hoffman. Danes, a former brakeman, was badly scalded four years ago in a wreck and the case was dismissed for lack of prosecution. Alliance men returned Tuesday.
