A brakeman named Oren Threcker on the Lake Erie freight train No. 15 near Pontorialna Tuesday night fell while crossing over the train. His foot gripped and he dropped between two cars as the lead to the crash. The ball of the train passed over him, his body found on the track in pieces. He was a youth not over twenty from Galion Ohio. His father is expected this afternoon.
A girl aged about eight was struck by a switch engine on the CF & C line near Wayne Street crossing while attempting to cross the tracks. She suffered a broken leg and internal injuries, with a doctor confirming further concerns as she remained in a stupor through the night. The incident prompted warnings about high speed trains near Wayne Street and calls for a flagman or barriers at the crossing.
An elderly Delphos citizen died Sunday morning in unclear circumstances. Coroner reports heroin not involved and death attributed to natural causes. The scattered notes reference local properties, sales, and business openings in Lima area.

Boose owns 45 acres and alimony is sought. case expected to be hotly contested.
The funeral for Frau enfelter at St Pauls Lutheran Church Sunday drew one of the citys largest crowds. The procession stretched over a mile reflecting his stature as a respected county citizen and the strong local turnout showed the community's appreciation.

Martin, manager of a fruit store on East Market Street, and his friend Julius, traveled to Muncie last Wednesday where Julius married Mise Alice of Cincinnati. The wedding took place at the bride's sister home. They plan to establish a home on Market Street. Wishes for their prosperity were expressed.
A Plymouth Accommodation Co train traveling toward Fort Wayne and at twenty miles per hour derailed after a collision with a rock or obstacle. Engineer Jones and fireman son were in the cab when debris ripped the roof and windows. The crew halted the train and an additional engine was dispatched from Wabash to convey the crippled cars to Fort Wayne.
Monday in West Minster Mr Jacob and family searched for their daughter a teenager who wandered away from her mother. The girl, described as weak minded, was found near Mr Berry’s residence after an all-day search. She appeared at Berry’s as a kitchen helper before being taken to safety. Authorities pursued possible exploitation but recovered her unharmed with her family.
