Last Thursday Orrie Miller suffered a painful injury when a shovel on a wagon fell, trapping it near the wheel. a physician dressed the wound and it is healing. The Clark family reunion at Mrs. Ray Fitch’s near Irvington drew many relatives and a large meal. A new daughter born Sept. 24 to Mr. and Mrs. Louis Schaffer, near West Bend, brought relief as the mother improves. Many young folks gathered at Geo. Spiegel’s for Miss Tarmer’s visit with Misses S. and family, including a well attended box supper. Various locals, road work, visits, and farm updates fill the rest of the community notes.
