Lynch survived until March with a bullet in his brain, remaining sane only when his head stayed flat.
Eidova Oct. 26 An indictment charges BEC Soule of Town Falls now serving an eighteen months sentence at Anamosa for falsifying Home Savings bank accounts and misappropriating funds. The new charge stems from Soule’s handling of Sherwood estate funds at Iowa Falls. His prison term ends Dec 28 and he will be arrested on release to answer the indictment.
Dubuque on Oct 2 reports Tom J. Mulgrew, a local politician, was robbed of $4000 after a man identified as John Weaver offered to buy Contin farm from Linn County. The duo negotiated a loan, filed a bogus mortgage card, and vanished with the cash. Hoover remains missing.
