A cyclone hit Round Lake area Wednesday evening about 8 o'clock injuring Mrs. Charles Larse, about 70, who is expected to die. The storm wrecked two elevators, a blacksmith shop, a dozen barns and outbuildings, and shattered windows. Kinsey Jordan known as Stormy Jordan died at his Ottumwa home at 1 o clock yesterday. He gained national notice for defying Prohibition to keep his saloon open under US courts protection, a stance that ruined him financially. Arriving in 1860 he ran a lasting Ottumwa business until 1897 before retiring. Age 73, he suffered dropsy, had been bedridden sixteen weeks, and leaves a wife and seven children.
