Butter standard plan to raise Kossuth creamery profits
DT. J. JUrraN argues at Waterloo dairymen’s convention that Kossuth county butter could fetch higher prices by raising quality and creating incentives. He proposes each creamery donate 25 cents to fund cash prizes for top buttermakers and a yearly trophy kept by the creamery. He envisions adding Kossuth county to shipping labels to build regional trade value and calls for county-wide discussion and a meeting to formalize a plan.
