Early morning blaze in Webster City consumed the Brunswick cafe on Des Moines street, damaged the Hamilton county telephone plant and the Journal building, with no insurance on the cafe. Firefighter efforts saved nothing, while Miss Myrtle Ban Scheyck was treated after a leap attempt and removed to the Wilson hotel. The cafe proprietor was Lewis Smith. building owner D. C. Chase.
