Kennedy McLaughlin store partnership links Bancroft dealer
Chas T Kennedy of Algona partners with Chas McLaughlin to buy out his late father's stake, expanding the long established Bancroft store. The business carries a $10,000 stock with annual transactions around $80,000, and Kennedy plans to move his family here after New Year’s. The notice also debunks a rumor about a jeweler purchasing a team for post office work and lists recent local activities and visits, including stock shows, school events, and social gatherings.
