In Davenport on July 26 David Hans Heinrich Stuhr disinherited his children after they sought mental examination. He left token sums to grandchildren and friends, directed cremation and ashes to his executor, and named an executor who died before him. Stuhr was buried prior to the will’s opening. ten dollars was left for the poor of Davenport.

Dog Saves Drowning Child Burlington July 30 a black and white mongrel dog saved the life of Elmer Westernier, a three year old, at the Oneida boat house wharf. The boy was pulled from a boat tied to the wharf after it fell overboard. The dog barked, jumped in, towed the boy downstream toward a bank where a passerby rescued him. The boy required difficult revival. The way the average man would like to reform trusts would be from the inside.
