Mr Olsen, popular manual training teacher, left Algona Monday for Chicago to enter the municipal pier program and will be missed for his work in athletics and classes. He has many friends in Algona High School and his star on the service flag. Mr Olsen attended the Lorenzeld Sunday party at Streit home for a sendoff. The teachers and students gave him a woolen blanket.
