N A Lucy, alias Buoy, convicted on the first of five indictments in a Webster City district court case, was sentenced by Judge J H Richards to eight years in the Anamosa penitentiary. Once a rural mail carrier, he forged signatures by imitating a wall contract note to secure loans, then ceased circulating the paper. HH Schultze received two years in the penitentiary for forgery.
