Wonder in Human Form Major Gantz Exhibition in Algona
Major Gantz the smallest man seen in Algona is on exhibition today in the former J W Childs building. A 36 year old midget weighing 30 pounds wears a child size S shoe. Born in Fairfield Town to parents still living there he is one of ten children and well educated. An intelligent conversationalist his head is naturally large while his body and limbs are tiny. Barnum reportedly wanted him but his parents objected. He has toured on his own for six years and the ten cent admission is worthwhile. This is a news item not an ad and aims to invite readers to view him.
