A Des Moines company with $50,000 capital forms to manufacture electric automobiles. Dr C B Paul serves as president with J B Paul as treasurer. W J Stone v p and A S Kenyon sec are experienced in business. Plans include a two story brick factory and production of ten cars weekly.
A joint concert by two musical groups, both praised for artistic performance, is set for Wednesday evening Jan 14 in Algona. Miss May Adaline Tarley, a noted elocutionist, will perform two selections, with several fine solos and a complete program featuring marches, overtures, waltzes, and dances.

In Lone Rock last Friday a case before A L Moore J P concerned who owns a house being moved from Rahn land to Riley. Rahn sought damages or the house’s return after Cotton moved it four miles toward Lone Rock amid a land sale contract. The verdict held no title to land or house vested in Riley yet. Cotton must return the house or pay full value. Appeals planned with Curtiss for Rahn and McMahon for Cotton. Spectators filled the hall for a lively, entertaining suit with sharp attorney exchanges.
