Santa Fe Beats Albuquerque In Rough Local Baseball Game
A crowd of about 500 watched Santa Fe Centrals defeat Albuquerque 13 to 7 at Traction Park yesterday. Poor pitching by a California semi pro named Richardson and numerous errors marred the game. Corhan relieved in the seventh but could not steady the effort as both sides misplayed repeatedly. The Evening Citizen tabulates the numbers and notes the disappointing performance for local fans amid shaky fielding and weak pitching by Richardson and others.
