Cistern digging reveals an old culvert three feet below surface indicating heavy street filling.

Albion Hosts Eighteenth County Commencement and Field Day

The eighteenth annual County Commencement at Albion drew a large crowd despite afternoon rain that dampened events. Prof. George H. Tapy of Wabash College spoke, Cromwell band played, and a sports recap listed winners such as Nowels Rome City 10.5 seconds and Gatwood Albion 17 feet in broad jump. Albion led with 28 points, followed by Ligonier 18, Rome City 13, and Wawaka 4.
