Amelia Towns of Sioux City and Wayne Nebraska editor Miss Marjorie Knapp visited the C P Knapp home while Violet Fry did business calling. Events cover farm work, 4 H show entries, a Hancock P T A meeting, and a large Sunday reception for old friends from Long Beach California with many Sioux City visitors.

Regular Sunday services are planned for October 8 with Sunday school at 10 a.m. The Mission meeting in Union Creek and Alcester is postponed due to the illness of Miss Ruth Bonander of Chicago. Mr and Mrs Roy Fickbohm and son and Miss Iva Fickbohm from Sioux Falls South Dakota were weekend visitors at the home of Mr and Mrs George Fickbohm. Arthur Swanson returned from California after a year away. Delbert Hamilton visited his grandparents Monday. Mrs Hid Lewison and sister Mrs Annie Wagner and the latter s son and wife spent four days last week in Shenandoah taking in the sights. Mr and Mrs Dick Hamilton and Mr and Mrs Wimn Skinned were Sunday visitors at the home of their son and brother Carroll Hamilton. Mrs Rose Johnson of Akron spent last week at the Ed Lewison home with her mother Mrs Fickbohm in Mrs Lewison s absence. Mr and Mrs Clifford Nygard were Sioux City visitors Wednesday. Mr and Mrs Leonard Baum of near Alcester were visitors Tuesday with her parents Mr and Mrs Geo Fickbohm.
