Funeral services for Arthur C Olson held in two churches
Arthur C Olson 78 of Route 1 Alcester died August 22 in Sacred Heart Yankton after a week hospitalized. Funeral services were Friday at Rosen Lutheran Beresford and Trondhjem Lutheran Volin with Rev. Christopherson and Rev. Larson officiating. Burial in Trondhjem Cemetery. Survivors include widow Cora, ten children, two brothers, two sisters, 30 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Wass Funeral Home Alcester in charge.

The Koffee Kup Klub began its first year as an organized Town Federated Women's Club on September 6 at Mrs. Bethene Ross's home with co host Mrs. Jo Ellen Nugent.
