More than 500 youths in the Sioux City district office service area may continue Social Security payments past age 18 until they finish school or turn 22, with full time students eligible for retroactive benefits dating to January 1965. Former 18-year-old beneficiaries can restart benefits if they stay in school full time, and new applications are required. vacations up to four months while returning to school are allowed.
