The Marple Campbell reunion met at the Legion hall on Sunday August 21 with a bountiful dinner featuring Oregon silver salmon and Alaska red salmon. Bertha Marple was named oldest attendee, Tom Wilken youngest, and Kenneth Marple traveled from West Virginia via Alaska. Officers elected include Dallas Wilken as chairman and Jay Ann Richards as vice chair. Historian notes five marriages, three births, two deaths this year. Kenneth Marple showed Penny Pac church films and family coat of arms. Attendees listed from multiple states and towns. prizes were awarded for games. Ice cream and coffee served.
