USDA expands extended loan options for corn crops
The USDA will extend reseal and farm stored loans on 1969 and 1970 corn beyond July 31 1972 to May 31 1973 and extend 1971 crop farm stored loans to May 31 1973. About 75 million bushels from 1969 and 125 million from 1970 are already resealed, with 300 to 400 million more from 1971 expected.

Obituary: Cecil Harris Dies In Akron at ... (title shortened)
Cecil Harris died Wednesday October 20 at Akron hospital after a sudden illness. Funeral services were held Friday October 22 at St Patrick Catholic Church with Rev Stanley R Stone officiating. Burial was at St Joseph Catholic cemetery under direction of Schroeder funeral home. Pall bearers were Francis Gale Blaine Ross Earl Oetken Andrew Brown Jerome Schoenfelder Fred McMillan. Harris was born June 2, 1909 in Akron and was a lifelong Akron area farmer who retired in 1969. Survivors include brother Virgil of Akron sister Mrs Berniece Lynder of Akron and several nieces and nephews. Aily Hicks Montezuma harvested a sweet onion this summer weighing one and a half pounds.
