Union Creek church and sale notes in October items

Union Creek Lutheran church services planned for next Sunday at 8 o'clock. Social League meets at the Wm. Ericson home Tuesday evening October 17. Junior Mission Band to present a program and hold an annual sale Friday evening this week. Leaders are Mrs. H. R. Anderson and Mrs. Alve Ericson. Community folks attend, and many useful items will be auctioned.

Miss Lulu Klemme returned home after a month in Chicago and the Century of Progress. Numerous local families hosted dinners and visits. A large barn fire on the Fred Klemme farm destroyed seven horses pigs and 500 bushels of grain. cause unknown.
