Westfield Congregational church Ladies Raid hosted the annual Harvest Supper on Thursday October 3 drawing a large crowd and praise for its success. The next Pilgrim Fellowship meeting is set for Sunday October 13 at 7 30 pm led by Florence Banks and Dixie Beaubien with the topic A Picture of Us.

Union County will hold an area 4 H leaders training short course in Beresford on Thursday October 17. Project leaders from Lincoln Union Clay and Yankton Counties will attend. The extension specialists from state college will teach the all day workshop. I hope you attend the Union County Home Demonstration Club Christmas Fair at 2 to 9 p.m. October 22 Beresford Legion Hall and October 23 Elk Point Auditorium. The office is preparing the fair booklet with many new ideas to display.
