The Register-Tribune publishes weekly on Thursdays in Akron and Town. Rates are 1 year two dollars, six months one dollar, and three months eighty cents. Published Sept 26 1901 as second class mail matter.
Westfield items report Thanksgiving break, several residents moving to Merrill Newhall Elk Point and Akron for jobs or families. A 1935 November 26 birth in the Bliss family, a Tracy Adams wedding at Akron, with reception details and guests. Local visits to Sioux City LeMars Richland and Elk Point noted along with holiday plans and club activities.
Examinations completed and ecards sent as Westfield school dismissed early for Thanksgiving. A program featured Louis Bertrand on Thanksgiving, with roles for Liberty and Father Time, plus contrasts between old and modern celebrations.
On November 12 1935 the District Court of Plymouth County Iowa appointed Elva L Youngstrom and Hobart W Ross as administrators with will annexed of Boysen Ross deceased. Creditors must file claims authenticated for court allowance and all debts should be paid to the administrators. Public notices run November 14 21 28 1935.
