Preston Pearls 4-H Club Elects Leaders at Meeting

The Preston Pearls 4-H girls elected officers for the coming year led by President Jo Ann Hillvichs and Vice President Patricia Borchers. Plans included attending the county 4-H banquet in LeMars where the club earned a standard certificate and a bread loaf goal. Donna Schneider received the County 4-H Leadership Award and Bonnie Frerichs the County 4-H Achievement Award. A motion approved Mrs. Norman Barker as assistant leader.

M Y F Meeting Reports Hallowe en Bill and Visit Plans

The M Y F members held a church parlor meeting November 10 with reports from special committees. A 50 cent per member payment and 10 cents per meeting were approved to clear the Hallowe en party bill. Plans include a visit to Crippled Children's Home in Sioux City around Christmas and a Korea mission letter read by Betty G. Betty Crow signed as secretary. The evening closed with a prayer and a paper bag mask recreation. Betty G. won the facial feature points competition. A December gathering is noted at Jo Ann Hillrichs on December 8.
