Ground breaking ceremonies held on new WIT campus

Formal ceremonies May 12 marked the start of WIT phase I with a heavy shops building to cost about 1.13 million dollars. The 52,000 square foot one story structure will be 396 by 152 feet on a 143 acre site near Stone Avenue and Highway 20. City officials and chamber dignitaries attended.

Three area girls vie for trucker queen as the 26th annual Truckers Day gala unfolds at Sioux City Municipal Auditorium. Candidates Named for State 4-H Conference

Plymouth County delegates to the State 4-H Conference were selected after interviews last week. Ardyce Roehr will also attend.
