Iowa Hunter Safety program available this summer

The Conservation Commission announced summer hunter safety classes in cooperation with local agencies. Four hour courses lead to National Rifle Association certification with conservation officers as instructors. Open to boys and girls age 10 and up, with volunteers welcome. University of Iowa to Offer 1000 Summer Courses and Institutes

The University of Iowa plans more than 1000 summer courses and institutes for teachers, peace officers, clergy, and students in two 8 and 12 week sessions starting June 14.
