Mrs Albert Harrington returned from Omaha to visit kin. Ray Olson of Wincharger plant Sioux City visited friends here Sunday. Mr and Mrs Walter Shearer returned from Cedar Rapids with machinery for Stickley family. Ladies Aid met at G B Main home with plans for April 1 at Ned Spaulding home. Sunrise Easter service planned by C E B youth and Charles Seward group at 6:30 a.m. Easter mass in St Catherine's 9:30 a.m. Mary Marcella Tracy will spend Easter with her parents Jas Tracy. Des Moines visit for Mary Spaulding. A W Hummel at Coleman products school in Wichita. Good Friday service 2:00 p.m. Easter mass 9:30 a.m. Mrs Perry Libby and children visited from Stevens S D. Art Exhibit hosted by Tuesday club showcased fifty French artist works with portraits by James Farley of Westfield drawing much praise. Marion Covington and daughter vonne of Sioux City visited. J Petersen and Carrie Adkins with two children from Sloan enjoyed Sunday dinner with Mr and Mrs J Wester. Petersen is Wester’s brother. Death notice: Mrs Wm Baxter nee Myrtle Moe died in Elk Point S D pneumonia March 23 1937 leaving husband and three children. Mrs J Petersen Sloan a guest with the Wster family. Arthur Kuntz and baby now on Hamilton farm northwest of Akron. Argonaut club of Sioux City met at Mrs Jonas Wester’s. party honored Mrs Wester on her birthday. Mrs Russell Sanford underwent tonsillectomy in Akron Hospital. Mr and Mrs McLaughlin and daughter visited sister in Sibley. David Lilly family visited Hawarden.
Sunday afternoon visitors at the John Tapper home included Mr and Mrs P C Kallsen and family from LeMars along with multiple Kallsen relatives from Craig and nearby areas. The gathering featured Edna and Lloyd Kallsen, Roy Sampson, Eldon Kallsen and family, Jesse Kalssen’s household, Fred Kilemme and children, and Bill Tapper among others. Anna and Clara Heeren were also present.
Alvin Klemme, Mrs Anha Klemmé and family entertained guests at their home on Sunday. Mr and Mrs Lambert Jeffers and daughters visited Gene Dalgliesh’s home in Chatsworth. Mrs Jesse Kallsen aided her mother Mary Witt with work this week as Walter and Lillian Molan spent Sunday with Hans Nielsen at his home.

Miss Pearl Sims hosted a Home Management Proje t at Mrs Harvey Taylor’s home on March 17. The session featured a play Says Pocket Book to Account Book and discussed family budgeting and the value of a family money plan. Attendees enjoyed fellowship and discussion, noting snow and bad roads slowed gathering.
