Hoeven Bill Aims to Expand Rural Free Delivery Service

The Town Health Officer Mayor and Town Council declare that dumping offensive refuse is a public health hazard. All garbage rubbish ashes or other offensive or dangerous substances are prohibited to protect health and the community’s best interests.
Akron Town seeks compliance with new dumping ban near tracks
The health officials announce a dumping ground one block east of the lower bridge on the north side of the road and urge residents to comply to keep Akron clean and healthy. The note also includes a thanks to local doctors, nurses, and hospital staff for care during illness.
