Funeral services were held for Leonard J S Gerrietts 54 of Newtonsville Ohio at St Mark Lutheran Milford. Burial in Newtonsville Cemetery followed at Monroe Copher Funeral Home Milford. He died March 10 after months of ill health leaving a widow Vera Utesch and four children.

Sioux City FFA Livestock Judging Contest Planned for March 28
Final plans for the 1969 Sioux City Invitational Livestock Judging Contest at the Sioux City Stockyards set for Friday March 28. About a hundred schools including Akron High School will be represented with over 500 students and instructors.contests begin with 8 am registration and judging at 9 30 am under judge James Kiser Iowa State University.There will be eight classes including beef steers heifers feeder steers market barrows market gifts fat lambs breeding ewes. A free lunch is provided at noon for all FFA contestants and instructors. Results and prize awards follow in the early afternoon.
