Special Correspondent reports on social visits moving plans, illnesses and recoveries, weddings, a fatal illness, a long time resident John Pike dies after lingering sickness with survivors across several states, and Leonard Brouillette involved in a drunken car crash near Riverside Boulevard in Sioux City.
Reports from Milnerville and Westfield detail a noninjury motor incident on Military Road and a streetcar collision with minor injuries. Local families Pavlik, Frisbie, and Mathwig are noted for farming, mortality, and a gas company employee’s near-m accident. A P T A meeting is planned March 10 at the new schoolhouse with Jay Keck to speak. Social visits span Hawarden to Sioux City with residents gathering at homes and events over the weekend.

Church services are planned for Sunday evening March 12 at 8 oclock. The Ladies Aid will meet Thursday afternoon March 16 at Luther Hall with Mrs Esther Hultgren and Mrs George Adamson serving. A cordial invitation is extended to all. Mr and Mrs Henry Fickbohm and Mr and Mrs Lloyd Fickbohm were Sioux City visitors Wednesday. Mrs Bill Peterson of Sioux City spent several days last week in Union Creek.
On March 1 1939 the District Court of Plymouth County Iowa appointed W J Nordman as Administrator of the Estate of Anna Richardson deceased. All persons indebted must pay and those with claims present them legally authenticated to the Court for allowance. Publication dates March 2 9 16 1939.
Probate notice states the estate of John R. Richard, deceased, is under administration in the county court. Creditors are required to present claims by a specified deadline, with all filings in the clerk’s office. Unknown heirs or interested parties should appear as directed.

Robert M Neubrand 59 LeMars died Wednesday after lingering illness. Survived by wife and nine children. Funeral at St Josephs Catholic Church LeMars. Interment Catholic Cemetery LeMars.

Also probate notice for the estate of Charles O Kanago deceased directed to Lottie Kanago Glen Kanago Doris Kanago Ian Kanago heirs at law with filing March 1 1939 in Plymouth County Clerk of the District Court office.
