Westfield notes a series of family gatherings and visits. Kyron Schumacher and family returned to pick up Stephanie after a Florida trip. Numerous reunions occurred on June 23 including Class of 1943, Ross family at Akron Legion Hall, Moliger family in De Smet, and Brodersons visiting grandparents. Regular social calls and relatives travelled from Slayton Des Plaines Hanford Perry Eagle Grove Last Lake and Kadoka.
Walter G Molten TD LeMars Iowa died at LeMars hospital at age 32. Funeral services were held at Lt Joly Lutheran church Preston Township with burial in the church cemetery. Prayer service and viewing at Mauer Funeral Home LeMars. Born Oct 14 1887 in Plymouth County Iowa farmed in LeMars area. Married Clara Beech Oct 14 1953 Lincoln Nebraska. Survived by widow 27 years, brothers Henry Alfred of LeMars and Witmer of rural LeMars, sister Mrs Bertha Jreitn Akron.

South Dakota parks and recreation urges motorists to display the park user license sticker. He advises green succulent pasture with grain clipped to five to inches and stocking rates from 5 to 30 pigs per acre plus mineral supplements.
Feed grain and wheat producers must report acreages by July 1 1968. Oats diverted acres must be clipped or incorporated by July 15 1968. Weeds must be controlled on diverted acres. Small grain vats used for conserving base must be cut for hay or silage by July 15. Final certification can be made before July 1 if vats are clipped or cut. Confirm acreages before reporting. no extra diversion after July 1.
