The Living Word program will be hosted this week with Roy Carlson announcer and Mr. Orris delivering the morning message. Bible study and prayer meet at 7:30 pm. Sunday worship includes Bible school at 8 00 am and worship at 11 00 am with the Lord's Supper. Card of thanks expresses gratitude for kindness after a death and hospital stays.
The church led by Pastor Robert Schesvold lists meetings this week including Missionary committee at Martin Kurka home Thursday at 2:00 p m Ladies Association Wednesday at 2:00 p m and several committee gatherings in the church in the evening. A radio broadcast airs Sunday at 9:00 a m on KLEM and worship services are at 10:00 a m with junior church at 10:30 a m. Guests urged to be noted in the Register Tribune.
Carla Johnson returned from Ames after the 29th annual 4-H Girls Convention held June 18 to 21 with 1713 attendees. She was chosen from over 450 girls to sing in the 4-H State Chorus at the Iowa State Fair in September. Earlier she was elected Plymouth county rally secretary treasurer and previously earned state and county awards for achievement in home economics and a record book.
Mrs. Walter H. Klemme expresses gratitude to relatives and friends for cards gifts and flowers received during her Akron Hospital stay. She thanks Dr Gacusana hospital staff and nurses for services and Pastor Luther Meyer for prayers and visits. A gift subscription to the Register Tribune is noted.
