ACT dinner theatre ends season with triumph

Fallow fawn born on South Dakota farm
The Eldon Heeren family on their farm welcomed an unusual arrival a fallow deer fawn and its mother. They bought the mother last March at the Longhorn sale in Chamberlain, South Dakota. The farm also owns spotted deer, but this is the first fawn born there. The fallow deer is native to Australia and grows to about three feet at the shoulder.
