Northwest Iowa League feature ends in dramatic finish at Paullina

Paullina won in a nail biting midweek game after a burst of late scoring. Borchers starred on the mound with a strong defensive display and a key throw to Pron. The rally started in the fifth with drives from Feaute and Gale. In the sixth, Moll and Gaudian produced a go ahead double to tie the game, and Miller, Tucker, and Romo led a late charge scoring the winning run off a fumbled grounder. Also notes the Akron game and local church events including Bible school, evangelistic service, and concerts by KFNF performers and Wings Over.
