The Geo V Pavlik family reunion on June 7 at Pavlik lake farm in Liberty Township Ply mouth County drew members from LeMars Merrill and Washington DC. Attendees included Geo V Pavlik and wife, Vincent M Pavlik and children, George A Pavlik, Norman L Pavlik, and guest Miss Mary Lou Ankrim. Vincent pursues studies at Westmar College and teaches at Hinton High School while farming. George A Pavlik, a Westmar graduate with a JD and MA, just completed U S Foreign Service training and awaits assignment. Norman L Pavlik, also a Westmar graduate with an Indiana MS, taught in Hinton and Union Whitten schools. he studies physics and math at Iowa State College under a Science Foundation grant.

Date Set for 1960 Wheat Quota Referendum
A referendum on 1960 wheat marketing quotas will be held Thursday July 28. Wm M Schnepf Plymouth county ASC chairman reports quotas were proclaimed by the secretary of agriculture due to wheat supply being over 20 percent above normal. Quotas require two thirds of voting producers to approve. Arizona joins 39 states in 1960 referendums. The national allotment for 1960 remains 55 million acres. Iowa's 1964 allotment stands at 143123 acres, 16777 less than 1965.
