Farm Field Day At Castana Iowa June 12
Farmers from Plymouth county plan to attend the 10th anniversary of the western Iowa Experimental Farm near Castana on Tuesday June 12. The 10 a m program includes tours of plots on fertility rotation runoff and cattle feeding with demonstrations of new harvesting and insecticide application machines. Specialists from Iowa State College and a women’s program with kitchen demonstrations and garden advice accompany the event. Noon lunch by the Monana 4-H Clubs.
