County 4-H Girls Rally Day Attracts Large Attendance
The Plymouth county 4-H Girls held its annual Rally Day on Monday June 4 with over 50 girls, leaders and guests in attendance. County officers Norman Kehberg Beverly Newberg Elizabeth Tone and Sherry Rees directed the program. The county committee led by Mrs R J Becker and others oversaw arrangements. Fredonia Famerettes and Border Belles clubs reported 100% attendance. The H and L Club also participated.

4-H Club Events Highlight Junior Senior Winners
The Perry Pals club had the most guests as 19 Junior Better Groomed girls were judged by Mrs. Lola Stelpflug. Mary Nicholson won the Junior contest and Jeanne Daws led the Senior division. The Senior winner received an expense-paid trip to District 4-H Camp. County officers Rae Becker president Pat Parkinson vice president Mary Atta Radloff secretary Jeanne Dawa historian were installed. Mrs. Virgil Newberg was initiated as honorary 4-H member. Mrs. Glen Gabel led singing and piano as Living the 4-H Pledge was explored.

Picnic day praised by clubs and leaders in county event
All clubs and leaders participated in plans for the day and the event was deemed pleasant and successful. A bountiful picnic meal was served at noon and county officers and committee thanked everyone who helped plan and carry out the day. The traditional flag ceremony by outgoing and incoming officers closed the afternoon program.
