Dr Ben Johnson Visits Beresford From Crofton Nebr
Dr Ben Johnson arrived Saturday from Crofton Nebraska where he practices dentistry to visit the family of his uncle Henry Rossbach northwest of town and other relatives and friends in the locality. Beresford residents rejoice as Northwestern railroad has contracted to deliver 300 car loads of gravel from Hawarden pits to Beresford. The gravel will be spread on principal streets, solving street issues for years without oiling or frequent dragging. The writer questions why Akron cannot similarly use the Big Sioux river bed for material and suggests experimenting with a few blocks of traveling.
